Sean McEvoy - Sean died age 34. He left behind a wife and no children. He was a Detective. Sean became very depressed after the case of Theresa Lofton and had to see a psychiatrist. Sean worked in Crimes Against People (CAP).

Jack McEvoy - is the twin brother of Sean and is working towards the finding the truth about his brothers fate. Jack works for the Rocky Mountain News. Jack also has a scar on his face which he wears with pride.

Harold (Wex) Wexler - Homicide Detective who worked with Sean. He is a man of small built but he is powerful and squat. He tends to drink Jim Bean over ice.

Sarah McEvoy - Died when the brothers were younger.

Ray (Big Dog) St. Louis - Works with Wex in CAP.

Theresa Lofton - She was a college student who was found in two pieces in Washington Park, she was aged 19. Sean was very troubled with this case

Black Pahlia - This not so all-american girl was murdered and severed at the midriff.

Iggy Gomez - A reporter at the Rocky, he had been in the park where Theresa Lofton was murdered. He managed to snap pictures of the body bags.

Van Jackson - Cop Shop Reporter who had a source in the cornerer who confirmed theresa's body was in two parts.

Laura Fitzgibbons - Universtry beat reporter

Greg Glenn - City Editor for the Rocky Mountain News. He started off as a hot shott reporter and worked his way up.

William Gladden - He has taken photo's of children playing. He holds a license from Alabama which states his name as Harold Brisbane and Richard Kidwell.

Laura Prine - Works in a libary and tends to help Jack out with stories.

Detective Robert Scalari - A police officer who worked on the suicide case of Sean

Captain Forest Crolen - Dark complected black man with a shaven head. He is in charge of the annual budge, hiring and training. He is also a source of information for Jack.

Park Ranger Stephen Pena - Witness to the death of Sean, he was assigned to the one-ranger substation at Bear Lake.

Dr Colin Dorschiner - Was Seans psychiatrist.

Dr Armand Griggs - DPD Physhological Consultant.

Detective Constance Delpy - The Detective who caught Gladden, she works in the Exploited Child Unit.

Detective Ron Sweetzer - The Detective who caught Gladden, he works also in the Exploited Child Uni.

Mr Arthur Kranser - He is a lawyer who helps Gladden when he is in Jail.

Jane - Lives across from Jack

Nathan Ford - He is the Director of the Law Enforcement Foundation.

John (Jumping John) Brooks - Chicago Police Detective who had begun therepy sessions with a psychiatrist. He needed help after a case gave him problems.

Bobby Smathers - This boy was missing for 2days and was eventually found dead, John Brooks was assigned this case.

Dr Ronald Cantor - He is the psychiatrist who dealt with John Brooks

Detective Lawrence Washington - Lawrence grew up with brooks and they were also partnered together in homicide.

Harold Nyberg - Santa Monica Municipal Judge.

Tamara Feinstock - Deputy District Attorney.

Larry Bernard - A friend of Jack's in chicago

Evangeline - Cleaner where Gladden was staying.

Michael Warren - Works in Public Affairs for Law Enforcement Foundation. He also used to be a reporter.

Bob Backus Sr. - A supercop for the FBI, he was brought in years ago to help setup Behavioral Science Services and the Violent Criminal Apprehension Programme.

Special Agent Rachel Walling - An FBI Profiler who is on the task force regarding the poet. She also has to babysit Jack.

Detective Morris Kotite - Another Detective who is suspected of commiting suicide.

Detective Garland Petry - A Dallas Detective who put one shot into his chest and another into his chest.

Detective Clifford Beltran - A Detective with the Sarasota County Sheriffs department in florida.

Darlene - She works at the motel where Gladden stayed.

Detective John P. McCafferty - An officer with the Baltimore police. Who has also died under suspect conditions.

Susan McCafferty - She is the wife of John P. McCafferty.

Polly Amherst - A first grade teacher who was abducted from campus at the private Hopkins School.

Jerry Liebling - Fellow Detective of Bledshoe

Detective Bledshoe - A Detective who was fired for altering a crime scene. He now owns Bledshoe Investigations.

Special Agent Chuck "Smithy" Smith - He is part of the task force.

Special Agent - Gordon Thorson - Also on the task force, he doesn't seem to like Jack.

Special Agent - Brasilia Doran - She is assigned to the task force as Victim Co-ordinator / Profiling

Special Agent Bradley Hazelton - He is a gangly man who wears glasses, he is also on the task force.

Ed Thomas - Officer that has been chasing Gladden.

Donal Forks - Pillowcase rapist of orlando

Alan Jannie - Surfing champion who was in jail with Gladden

Horace Gamble - Las Vegas hypnotist who was in jail with Gladden.

Raymond Gomez - Officer who found the pictures that Gladden took.

Prosecutor Houchall - He was the Prosecutor when Gladden was caught with the photo's.

Special Agent Thompson - He is a forensic expert on the task force.

Special Agent Thorson - He is in the Cricital Incident Response (CIR) group.

Special Agent Matuzak - Is part of the task force

Special Agent John Mize - Is part of the task force

William Orsulak - Homicide cop from Phoenix

Grayson - Cop from phoenix who worked with Orsulak.

Jim "Beamer" Beam - Retired cop from Phoenix

Joaquin - Eight year old kid who was abducted, all they found was his head.
