Characters

I have given a short description about some of the characters in the book. I don't want to go into detail because that would ruin the story!

Michael "Mickey" Haller - Mickey is the main character in the book who is a criminal defense lawyer.

Fernando Valenzuela - Fernando is a bondsman who is on Mickey's christmas list.

Harold "Hard Case" Casey - Client of Mickey's who was caught cultivating marijuana, he is also a member of the Road Saint's.

Cecil C. Dobbs Esquire - Top flight lawyer working for Louis Ross Roulet.

Reynaldo Rodrigeuz - A bailiff in court.

Victor Devries - Young Prosecutor.

Judge Arton Powell - Judge dealing with Harold "Hard Case" Casey.

Earl Briggs - Mickey's Driver who is paying off his debt by driving Mickey about in his Lincoln.

Roger Boyleston - Mickey's client who has been drug trafficing

Lorna Taylor - Mickey's ex wife and also case manager.

Gloria Dayton - She is a escort and also a drug user. Mickey tends to help her out time and time again.

Maggie "McFierce" Mcpherson - Mickey's ex wife and one of the toughest deputy district attorney's.

Teddy Vogel - The highest ranking Road Saint who is not in jail.

Raul Levin - Mickey's Investigator and very good at what he does.

Lesie Faire - Prosecutor dealing with gloria.

John Smithson - Head deputy in charge of the Van Nuys Division.

Mary Alice Windsor - Roulets mother and a very powerful women.

Regina "Reggie" Campo - The women who is pressing charges against Roulet.

Darius McGinley - Was a repeat offender who was selling crack cocaine.

Judge Daniel "Danny Boy" Flynn - Flynn is an irish judge who happens to be a racist and also came into power in suspected circumstances.

Fedrica "Freddie" Brown - A popular figure in the community who wanted to run against Danny Boy to become a Judge, however she withdrew.

Sam Scales - Hollywood con man who specialized in internet schemes designed to gether credit card numbers.

Judge Judith Champagne - Old school Judge who is also quite attractive. Sometimes even brings her german shepard in with her.

Ted Minton - New prosector assinged to the Roulet case.

Howard Kurlen - Homicide Detective who has a chip on his shoulder.

Martha Renteria - This was another Women who was killed in mysterious circumstances.

Jesus Menedez - A client of Mickey's who was charged with the murder of Martha Renteria.

Detective Lankford and Detective Sobel - Both are dealing with the murder of Raul.
