Synopsis

Michael takes a break from his Harry Bosch series in this hi-tech novel. Henry Pierce and his firm Amedeo Technologies, are on the verge of sealing a major backing in the molecular electronics sector that will be a breakthrough like none other.

Things start to go wrong for Henry thought as soon as he starts receiving strange phone calls, it seems that this phone number is also listed on a escort service web site. Henrys starts to trace the whereabouts of this women but it seems that things are a lot more complicated that it first seems, he starts to find clues and soon gets enough to determine that she is missing or could be in danger.

"Chasing the dime" is a pleasant change of pace for Michael, some parts of the book however are a little farfetched. The amount of work that Michael must have put in to this book is amazing, i found that everything was explained in depth and Michael delievers the science in small doses so people like myself can follow along without any problem.

I really enjoyed this book and finished it in a couple of days, i just couldnt put it down! If you a smart and enjoyable thriller then you cannot go wrong with "Chasing the dime".
